Writers are voracious readers and we love to load up on great books. I’m heading off on vacation tomorrow so I thought I’d share with you the books I’ve loaded into my Kindle.
Mistakenly Married by Victorine Lieske – This is the third in her The Married Series and I have loved every one of her books so I’m looking forward to this one. Lieske writes romantic comedies that I don’t have to be embarrassed to be reading in public. Have you read her romantic suspense USA Today bestseller, Not What She Seems? Fabulous!
The Deep End by Julie Mulhern – This is the first in her Country Club Murders series and I’m about half-way through it. This book has, hands down, the best opening paragraph I’ve ever read. Check out the free sample if you don’t believe me. Her third book is coming out soon, so I’m reading catch-up.
A Body on the Porch by Steve Demaree – Book ten of his ever-popular Dekker Cozy Mystery series, this one just came out and it links to one of his other series, which I thought was clever when I read the book that set this one n motion. Christian police procedurals that are as funny as they are challenging to solve.
Sharpe Mind by Lisa B. Thomas – Again, I’m picking up a series that I’ve enjoyed (I do that a lot) and this Texan makes me want to snowbird!
A Treasure to Die For by Richard Houston – Who can say no to an adorable golden retriever solving crime in Colorado? Certainly not me!
I must admit that I have quite a few more than these on my reading list right now but these are the ones I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to read while I’m on the cruise ship. Let me know if you pick any of them up, or if you’ve already read them, but just a warning – I won’t have Internet on my vacation so I’ll take a look at the comments when I get back in mid-May.
